ECOLOGICAL RESTORATION IN LA ESPERANZA MINE
In this project, the ecological restoration plan and landscape design for 324 native individuals were developed, as the final process of restoration of the dump area of La Esperanza mine. In the end, three (3) hectares were restored.
During the project development, we received an unconditional support from the local community. They have been supporting this process, from the planting process to the purchase of vegetal material. This has been carried out by women of Mundo Nuevo and Manzano villages. In this process, they have achieved to recover the soil and the restoration of a zone that was part of a mining project.
